Zero Robotics by MIT
Sep 2025 – Jan 2026; Finals at MIT or virtual
Zero Robotics is a robotics programming competition based on Astrobee. The tournament begins online, with teams creating code using the Zero Robotics IDE to solve a yearly coding challenge. Teams compete by programming strategies into Astrobee robots to complete a technically difficult game. Students must program Astrobee to accomplish goals such as negotiating obstacles, collecting virtual things, and accomplishing specific tasks while conserving resources such as fuel and battery power.
