The Summer School for School Students at IIT Madras is a special academic and innovation-focused program designed to give school students an early exposure to engineering, science, and technology at an IIT campus.

In this program, students:

• Experience how IIT students learn and think
• Explore engineering, science, innovation and problem-solving
• Learn through hands-on activities, demonstrations and mini-projects
• See how classroom knowledge is used in real-world applications

It is designed to build curiosity, confidence and interest in STEM fields.

What will students actually do?

Students will:

        Attend interactive lectures by IIT Madras faculty

• Participate in hands-on workshops and demonstrations
• Work on mini projects & team challenges
• Visit labs and research facilities
• Learn how engineers and scientists approach problems
