Pulitzer local letters writing contest
The Local Letters for Global Change contest, hosted by the Pulitzer Center, invites K–12 students worldwide to write letters to local elected representatives, urging them to address global issues that impact their communities. Participants are encouraged to choose topics from five key areas: Climate and Environment, Global Health, Human Rights, Information and Artificial Intelligence, and Peace and Conflict. The contest aims to foster global citizenship, civic engagement, and persuasive writing skills among young people.
