These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of The Grad Track platform (“Platform”, “Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”) by students, counsellors, schools, and other authorised users (“Users”, “you”).

By logging in, accessing, or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Access

• Students authorised by their school or counsellor
• Certified counsellors, educators, or school administrators
• Institutional partners approved by The Grad Track

Students under the age of 18 may access the Platform only through school- or counsellor-mediated accounts with appropriate parental or institutional consent.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and usage.

2. Account Responsibility and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must not share your account or access rights with unauthorised individuals.
• All activity conducted through your account is your responsibility.
• The Grad Track reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of misuse or security violations.

3. Platform Purpose and Scope

• Career exploration and planning
• Psychometric, aptitude, and wellbeing assessments
• Academic pathway mapping and admissions tracking
• Counsellor-led insights and reporting

The Platform does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or legal advice. All insights are advisory and indicative only.

4. Student-Specific Terms

• Complete assessments honestly and independently
• Use insights responsibly
• Do not manipulate or misrepresent responses

Reports are interpretive tools, not definitive labels, and outcomes depend on multiple external factors.

5. Counsellor-Specific Terms

• Use the Platform ethically and professionally
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity
• Interpret reports responsibly
• Do not share student data with unauthorised third parties
• Do not commercially exploit Platform data

6. Data Privacy, Ownership, and Confidentiality

Student data is owned by the school and/or student. The Grad Track does not claim ownership over identifiable personal data.

Data may be analysed only in aggregated and anonymised form to improve services. Identifiable data is never reused for marketing or profiling.

7. Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AI is used solely for informational, analytical, and assistive purposes. It does not make final decisions regarding student capability, admissions, or career outcomes.

8. AI-Generated Essays and Content Disclaimer

• AI-generated content is for guidance and structuring only
• Students must ensure originality and authenticity
• Direct submission of AI-generated content may violate institutional rules

9. Third-Party Data Sources and Accuracy Disclaimer

The Platform aggregates third-party data which may be incomplete or subject to change. Users must verify critical information with official sources.

10. Intellectual Property

All assessments, algorithms, reports, and materials are the intellectual property of The Grad Track and may not be copied or exploited without written consent.

11. Acceptable Use Policy

• No unauthorised access or data misuse
• No falsification of assessments
• No unlawful or harmful activity

12. Limitation of Liability

The Grad Track is not liable for academic, career, or admissions outcomes. Liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the Service.

13. Suspension and Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated due to policy violations, institutional requests, or legal obligations.

14. Modifications to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
